EMERGENCE is an interactive mathematical exploration app.
EMERGENCE does not require an account and does not ask users to provide personal information to use the app.
The CREATE machine can optionally use the device microphone to allow artwork to respond to sound in real time. Audio is analysed on the device to extract characteristics such as overall level, bass, mid and treble information. Audio is not recorded, stored or transmitted by EMERGENCE.
Microphone input, when the LISTEN feature is enabled, is used solely to control the visual behaviour of the CREATE machine in real time.
EMERGENCE does not use microphone input to identify users or create recordings.
EMERGENCE does not sell, rent or share users’ personal information with third parties.
EMERGENCE does not store personal information or microphone recordings. Because this information is not retained by the app, there is no personal data stored by EMERGENCE that a user needs to request deletion of.
EMERGENCE does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
If the privacy practices of EMERGENCE change, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect those changes.
